PUGET

The company Puget was founded in 1857 in Marseille’s Old Harbour (in the South of France). At that time, the founder of Puget – an olive oil trader from Marseille – decided to create its own export business. His goal: to spread his Provençal olive oil in South America and especially in Argentina. Sold in 5-liter-cans (the “estagnons”), Puget’s fame grew in the whole continent! In the 30’s Puget decided to sell his olive oil in glass bottles instead of cans.
