The Inés Rosales brand was founded in 1910 in Castilleja de la Cuesta, near Seville, when Inés Rosales Cabello decided to market her family’s recipe for the famous tortas de aceite. Prepared by hand with extra virgin olive oil, these sweet cakes quickly became a huge success in Andalusia and then throughout Spain. After preserving its artisanal expertise throughout the 20th century, the company modernized and began exporting worldwide. Today, Inés Rosales remains a symbol of Andalusian tradition and Spanish artisanal quality.
